About Minster, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Auglaize County, Ohio, Minster is a village with approximately 2,800 residents. This community is adjacent to other Ohio villages including Fort Loramie and New Bremen, and it is also small geographically with less than two square miles of total area. Minster is home to the largest yogurt plant in the world, which is operated by Dannon and provides employment opportunities to more than 400 workers. Minster also serves as the headquarters of the Minster Machine Company, which is also a major employer in the area.

Minster is a small community, but there are a few notable attractions that can be found here. The Arrowhead Golf Club offers a course and driving range, and bowling can be enjoyed at Community Lanes. Visitors that are looking for a day of pampering may enjoy a trip to the Looking Glass Spa and Salon. Shopping is popular in the area, as there are a variety of unique stores and shops found in the community, including Ernst Sporting Goods, Flowers and Gifts by Dudley, Front Porch Candle Co., and Shed’s Bike Shop.

As part of a humid continental climate zone, Minster residents will experience four seasons throughout the year, including a cold and snowy winter. In January, temperatures may only reach the freezing point as an average high in January, and low temperatures fall into the 20s or even lower. Without a home heating system in place, residents will experience dangerously cold conditions, and if pipes were to freeze, expensive repairs may be necessary.

Minster will also experience extreme weather conditions at times during the summer, when temperatures can reach the mid-80s on average in July. With high humidity, it can feel even more unpleasant. Without an efficient air conditioning system in place that has been properly serviced ahead of time, Minster residents could be at risk for experiencing a heat-related illness or injury.
